Clinical Supervision at Collective Care Counselling

At Collective Care Counselling, we value the continual growth and development of mental health professionals and are passionate about nurturing the next wave of mental health providers. We are currently seeking (Qualifying) Registered Psychotherapists to provide couples therapy, family therapy, and/or individual therapy. This position can be in-person, remote, or a hybrid of both. In this position, the psychotherapist will be hired as an Independent Contractor. However, opportunities for permanent full-time employment may be available upon successful completion of Registration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master’s degree and is Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
  • Experience providing supportive counselling or psychotherapy
  • Trained in therapeutic techniques specific to the type of therapy they offer – such as EMDR, CBT, ERP, DBT, SE
  • Deeply committed to their own growth as an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and intersectional practitioner
  • The following qualities: openness to learn and grow, works well independently and as a team, takes initiative, creative, responsible, compassionate, friendly

Collective Care Counselling, Inc. (the CCC) offers a unique opportunity for graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology to undertake a practicum placement with us. As a student intern at the CCC, you will have the chance to gain experience with intake, service administration, providing individual/couples/family therapy, receive training, conduct workshops and groups (if interested), and support with our social media.

Collective Care Counselling, Inc. (The CCC) is offering an exciting volunteer opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields. As a Social Service Support Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, assisting with various aspects of social media management, workshop coordination, and administrative support. This volunteer position offers valuable hands-on experience and the chance to contribute to our mission of promoting mental health and well-being in Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Assistance: Collaborate with our team to create engaging and informative social media content that aligns with The CCC’s mission and values. Help manage and maintain our social media profiles, including scheduling posts, responding to inquiries, and tracking engagement.

Workshop Coordination: Support our workshop facilitators in coordinating and promoting our mental health workshops. Assist with scheduling, registration, and participant communication. Contribute ideas for workshop topics and outreach strategies.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, such as organizing documents, maintaining records, and managing emails. Help with scheduling and client communications. Contribute to the smooth operation of our mental health services.

Research and Content Development: Assist in research projects related to mental health, trauma-informed care, and holistic healing. Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Passionate about mental health and well-being, with a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and a creative approach to content creation.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, eager to learn and contribute to our team.
  • Commitment to anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and intersectional practices.
